I just got this place a few months ago as somewhere to stay when I come home to Portugal and I picked based on location! Marvila is not a touristy neighbourhood, it still has an old Lisbon soul and it has sort of an hipster reputation. It’s also like 5 minutes walk to the riverside (and you can see the river from the balcony and the windows).

As you can tell I'm not a professional landlord and this is my second home, so I'm learning as I go. I can promise to do my best, and improve with your feedback :)

The apartment is small in terms of square meters but it feels big since it has two floors and high ceilings. It is also very smartly built so there is plenty of storage and space for an extra single air mattress on the floor. However, my favourite thing last July was the A/C to be honest. Since I got it recently and I live in Denmark I will admit it is lacking a bit in decor, but I made sure it has everything else.

As for the practicalities, there are bus and train stops nearby. There is no metro nearby but Uber works well for more tricky destinations. The street outside is quiet-ish since there are no bars nearby but you can hear the trains sometimes. Do note it is on the third floor with no elevator (but the view makes up for it)!
